What resonated with me is how pressure doesn’t just test teams — it reveals their most authentic thinking. When the clock is ticking, people strip away the unnecessary and tap into a deeper, more instinctive clarity. That emotional intensity actually adds dimension to their reasoning.

And there’s a team dynamic too: shared uncertainty is a powerful bonding agent. Under pressure, groups synchronize faster, trust more quickly, and communicate more honestly. You can almost see the moment when a team “clicks” and their thinking becomes collective rather than individual.

It’s counterintuitive, but competitions like this prove it again and again: struggle is a creative catalyst, and adaptability isn’t just an advantage — it’s where the real breakthroughs happen.

Shout out to our lovely Corvinus University of Budapest International MBA students, and students from all other paricipating universities for the excellent, thrilling experience!
